Visit the beaches
The beaches of Playa Blanca are beautiful and very quiet. They are great for taking a bath and swimming. The reason is that the town is located in a geographical area protected from the strong winds.
Clear water, gold sand, and not big waves or currents are the main characteristics of Playa Blanca’s beaches.
Playa Blanca and Playa Dorada are urbanized, so you’ll find the main services you could need at the beach or close to it. Another great option is the Playa de Montaña Roja.
You can also go to Papagayo beaches at Los Ajaches National Park. They are a set of beaches and coves with crystal clear and calm waters, considered among the best in Spain. Unlike the previous ones, these are not urbanized.
Go to Marina Rubicón
This is one of the things to do in Playa Blanca Lanzarote. At the Marina Rubicon you will find boutiques, restaurants, cafes, and some amazing luxury yachts.
Also, from the Marina Rubicon, the boats leave to take you to Fuerteventura, Isla de los Lobos or Papagayo Beach. And if you are looking for water sports like snorkelling, this is the place to go.

Visit historic locations
There are some interesting historic places close to Playa Blanca, such as Castillo del Aguila. The castle was built in the 1700s to alert about the pirate attacks that were frequent at that time. Today it is possible to visit it for free.
Another place is Pechiguera Lighthouse, located in Punta Pechiguera. This lighthouse was operational from 1866 to 1988.
Take a boat trip

In Playa Blanca you can take a boat or a catamaran that takes you around the beaches, or take the ferry to Fuerteventura. Also, there are boats to go to Isla de Lobos, to catch the sunset and dolphin watching.
Atlantic Museum
This is the first underwater museum in Europe. This is an artificial reef with more than 300 concrete sculptures. It was designed by the British sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor.

Visit the natural wonders
There are several natural wonders around Playa Blanca. Two of them that have to be on your list are Los Charcones and Los Hervideros. These have to be included in your Lanzarote tours.
Los Charcones is a set of natural pools, and it is possible to swim if there aren’t big waves in the ocean. It is not advisable to let the kids get in these pools.
On the other hand, Los Hervideros is a spot to watch the power of the ocean. It is not possible to get in the water, but it is amazing to see how the waves crash against the cliff.
